The brief

High Speed Films is a UK studio for super-slow-motion and motion-control filming. It hires out Phantom high-speed cameras and cinema robots, with or without operators, sells the robots as an official CR Cinema Robotics partner, runs a tabletop studio with its own engineering team, and brings a Glambot robot camera to red carpets and media events.

Agencies, production companies and brands come to the site for two things: proof in moving pictures, and enough technical detail to choose the right kit.

What we built

We designed and built the site in English. A showreel plays behind the homepage, and the portfolio shows short clips from recent commercials instead of stills.

The offer is split into four lines: camera hire, robot hire and sales, the visual engineering studio and the Glambot. Every camera and robot has its own page with specifications and an enquiry button, and every portfolio project names the studio it was made with and links to the camera it was shot on.

What it does
  • Showreel behind the homepage hero
  • Camera pages with frame rates, sensor sizes, lens mounts, data sheets and manuals
  • Cinema robot pages with reach and motion range, for rent or purchase
  • Visual engineering studio and Glambot pages, with past events
  • Portfolio of commercials, each linked to the camera it was shot on
  • Partner studios page
  • Full-screen menu, and a message and call button on every page
