Dediko is a social enterprise set up by the Constanta Foundation to support single mothers and women who care for elderly relatives. It employs them, teaches them a trade and sells what they sew: backpacks, laptop and cosmetics bags, tablecloths, picnic mats, and a parent's backpack that clips to a pushchair.
It needed a shop that sells the products properly — photographed, described and bought online — and tells the story behind them, so that buying a bag reads as supporting the women who made it.
We designed and built the online shop. The catalogue is split into bags, home décor, and parent and child, with sale prices shown against the original and a search in the header. Each product page has a gallery, the size, colour, fabric and pockets, and a short FAQ on buying and returns; visitors save items to a wishlist, add them to the cart and check out online, with delivery across Georgia.
Beyond the shop, the site tells Dediko's story, invites women to join the team through a form of their own, and publishes the delivery, return and privacy terms, in Georgian and English.
